Associates is dedicated to assisting and serving as an advocate for U.S. defense
contractors and others in their efforts to successfully exploit international
business opportunities and obtain requisite U.S. Government export approvals in
a timely fashion. ITD understands that competition in the defense and dual-use
arenas is greater than ever, and that short turnaround times on license
requests and innovative approaches to licensing problems are often critical to
successful offshore marketing and sales efforts by U.S. companies.
ITD was founded by Allan Suchinsky in 1997 to assist exporters of military and
dual-use equipment and technology in their efforts to understand and comply
with the requirements of the U.S. Government. ITD consults for a wide range of
clients, from small companies to law firms to large defense firms manufacturing
jet engines and sophisticated electronics equipment. Several foreign
governments and companies also seek the advice and counsel of ITD on their own
transfer issues.
The
firm specializes in addressing export licensing, compliance, and technology
transfer concerns, as well as providing education and training. ITD works
closely with the Departments of State, Commerce, Defense, Energy, Treasury, and Justice
(BATF), as well as the U.S. Customs Service to ensure timely processing of all license requests.

possible advice and service available, on a cost-effective basis, in their
