Allan Suchinsky, President of ITD Associates, is
one of Washington's
foremost authorities on export control and compliance matters. Having served
for more than 25 years at the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, U.S.
Department of State, Mr. Suchinsky has expert knowledge of U.S. defense
trade and dual-use licensing requirements and processes. Among his many
accomplishments are drafting the current version of the International Traffic
in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and negotiating strategic trade and security
agreements on behalf of the U.S. Government. Mr. Suchinsky received the EIA
annual award for outstanding government performance and has a proven track
record of expediting export approvals on behalf of clients.
Following his retirement
from the State Department, Mr. Suchinsky founded ITD Associates, a consulting
firm specializing in strategic trade, export licensing, training, jurisdictional
concerns, and regulatory compliance matters. Mr. Suchinsky is known for working
closely and directly with clients, devising innovative approaches to address
export-related problems and concerns, and establishing compliance programs meeting
the requirements of the U.S. Government.
